Great Afghan food. 4th or 5th time here in past few years. This is Afghan Chicken pretty sure most people would ravish it!

Dined in here super last minute right before Iftar. Definitely worth the sit down. Great food . Had the Lamb Bukhari, the meat was so tender it was falling off the bones ! The rice was amazing with the side of yogurt and green sauce . The person that took our order was super sweet as she knew we were fasting she gave us some Dates and got our food in just in time. Definitely a go back. If you're in the area for a good Lamb Shank! This is the spot , give them a try you won't regret it !

The owner herself was working there closing on a Friday night. This is the definition of a small business. The food tasted great and everything was clean and what I expect in a small restaurant. I had a nice conversation with the owner too. They've been in business since 1990 but she bought the business 7 years ago and has been trying to grow it since.

I don't like to review many places but this is For the people who comment and the slow speed and the lady at the front. Shame on you! She old enough to be your grandma, but still keeps going, so have some patience with her. This lady makes amazing food, it's home made and fresh, it's not Taco Bell where you get your food FAST. Food is authentic, fresh and most importantly HOME MADE. If you want quick food, go across the street to Taco Bell, if you want kiss as customer service go to a franchised restaurant like California pizza kitchen. If you gotta take a crap cuz it's an emergency find a toilet! If you want authentic afghan food, have some patience and come here, you won't be disappointed.

Coming back from the masjid and was looking for a good halal place-- found this gem! We tried the beef koobideh on pita and it was juicy and flavorful. We've had mantoo before at a place in NY and decided to try it here too-- phenomenal! The owner is the sweetest, most kind-hearted lady and she can cook up a mean storm. Definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.

One of the greatest places to eat in the entire world. Love the chicken platter here. The falafel is also just outstanding. People are friendly and just overall a really incredible place.

The owner was soo sweet! We walked in, asked what's good, and she made some recommendations. She brought us a Bolani on the house and damn; Impressive. It's a fried flatbread pancake with potatoes, onions, and spices. The Ashak was quite flavorful and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The chicken was a little dry, but spiced well. The salad, rice, and sauces that came with them were a nice touch. Overall, it was very good. For someone who doesn't eat Afghani food, I'd highly recommend.

Best food it's heavenly food ever the lady there is so hard working loving caring affectionate food is out of this world the warm yummy food is gods sent

Delicious!! We brought our Afghan friends here and it was perfect because we needed halal food. Not only was it Halal, but it was so yummy!! I would give it 5 stars but it was so pricey, I just wish it was slightly cheaper. (They range about $19-22 per a plate) The lady was very friendly and did everything herself! She was so generous and brought out a soup for us to sample because she heard us talking about it (that we wanted to try because a friend said they would make it for us sometime). The decor has lots of cool pics from Afghanistan and one special one of Mecca.

When I won the lamb shank I always come here the best lady with the best Afghani food. Do you know when the place is good if you keep coming back. How old is sort of the same thing and it's all the same quality same taste that's what I like about this place
